This June night was the annual WAMA Jam, and Geordie opened up. I took the stage later that night, but had the old Nikon FG manual camera on hand for the evening's festivities. Toward what end? Who knew? This whole "Gig Diary" concept was still getting off the ground. No problem; Geordie was a good-natured test pilot. So here he is. Young Mr. Keitt is a relative new-comer to the local songwriter scene, and he brings with him a sort of post-college exuberance that manifests in his delivery. His developing songcraft is hook-savvy with the pedigree of Holly, the Kinks, and Crenshaw (I fully expect him to have purchased a Rickenbacker 12-string by now). You ought to see the babe entourage this guy brings out with him to every gig....
