The live music series at area Starbucks makes a wealth of talent available to a small but growing number of patrons. Just one of the many performers is Damion Wolfe from Fredericksburg, VA. Before you say anything about "another singer-songwriter bashing on an acoustic guitar," let me share a few observations with you. Damion writes anything but self-obsessed lyrics. The imagery is open-ended, which might just make them more user-friendly. But Damion doesn't stop there... this kid (not even 30 yet, I don't think) uses his Canadian-built Seagull acoustic not just for chordal accompaniment, but for percussion as well. Not impressed yet? Wait till he steps on the wah-wah pedal... just another of the many serendipitous moments in Damion's show. Damion shared a number of originals from his CD, and threw in some covers as well.

Contact Damion Wolfe for more info about his CD and live performances.
